We bring more than twenty years of global experience at the intersection of strategic philanthropy, social impact, and capital deployment for the world’s leading foundations and family offices.
Our leadership brings more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of philanthropy, strategic communications, and social impact. We have advised and partnered with leading global private foundations—including the Ford Foundation and the Oak Foundation—as well as family offices, funder collaboratives, community and faith-based foundations, donor-advised funds, and multilateral institutions including United Nations agencies and government bodies.
Across this spectrum of funders, we have supported the design of giving strategies, the identification and engagement of mission-aligned grantee partners, and the cultivation of networks and ecosystems that strengthen the long-term impact of philanthropic capital. This has included helping institutions assess emerging areas of opportunity, clarify their distinctive role within broader systems, and translate ambitious visions into focused, multi-year strategic priorities and scalable social impact initiatives.
Our practice extends beyond traditional grantmaking. We have guided strategies for capital deployment that include venture philanthropy, catalytic capital, and impact investing. We have designed impact measurement frameworks and metrics systems adopted by the Global Impact Investing Network and used more broadly by donors, governments, and nonprofits seeking practical tools to align capital with measurable outcomes.
With experience spanning six continents and a global network of trusted partners, we have designed and implemented cross-sector initiatives that deliver social impact across diverse cultural, political, and economic contexts. Our track record includes guiding founder-led and mission-driven initiatives through rapid growth, organizational transition, and high-risk and emergency settings, including armed conflict, natural disaster, and global pandemics.
We have led research, analysis, and communications for advocacy campaigns, social impact projects, and government programs, translating complex and novel ideas into practical, actionable solutions. From ghostwriting op-eds, speeches, and executive communications to publishing research, policy analysis, and other thought leadership, our work has informed philanthropic strategy, public policy, and capital allocation decisions across government and industry. Our publications and commentary have appeared in journals and outlets on global affairs, public policy, philanthropy, capital markets, and social innovation.
Insights from our work have been shared with international policy forums and platforms for philanthropy, impact investing, and social innovation, including European Development Days, United States Military Academy at West Point, Global Impact Investing Network Investor Forum, Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs, Women’s Funding Network, The British Embassy in Washington, and the Arizona State University Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation.
